Rev. Dr. Peter Shidemantle
Pastor Pete, as he is affectionately known, has been pastor of Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church since 1993. Before coming to Pebble Hill, he served churches in Rome, New York and St. Paul, Minnesota, and served as campus minister and lecturer in religion at Muskingum College. A graduate of Muskingum College, Pete earned his Master of Divinity degree from Yale Divinity School and his Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Pete's wife, Rev. Karen Dimon, is pastor at Northminster Presbyterian Church in North Syracuse.
Karen and Pete have two children, Dale and Kara.
