Worship
Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. We offer a Christ-centered service that includes praise, prayer, Scripture, music, a children's message, dynamic sermons, monthly communion and seasonal celebrations. On most Sundays, children leave the worship service to attend church school following the children's message.
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Communion in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
is open to all believers. It is left to the parents' discretion if their child is to receive communion. Grape juice is used to symbolize the blood of Christ.
Special Services: Throughout the year special services are held in addition to Sunday morning worship, such as on Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday, and Christmas Eve. Other services and celebrations are held as well, including Jazz Vespers worship (3 times each year), Thanksgiving celebration with Congregation Beth Sholom Chevra Shas, and Blue Christmas worship.
