Rev. Elizabeth Lyman, Transitional Pastor
Hello Pebble Hill! I am excited to join you as your pastor.  I look forward to getting to know all of you. May God bless our time together!

Pebble Hill will be my seventh interim or transitional ministry call.  It is my love to be involved in churches during times of significant change.

I have served churches all over the country. My most recent ministry was at Concord Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Delaware. I have served churches in West Virginia, Virginia, Arizona, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. I also worked for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for nine months after Hurricane Katrina.

Being a Spiritual Director is another part of my ministry. I am on the faculty of the Hescyhia School of Spiritual Direction in Tucson AZ. I teach Spiritual Direction for those in recovery from addictions. It is a very satisfying part of my life.

My MDiv is from Princeton Theological Seminary. I have completed all the course work for a DMin in interim ministry from Louisville Theological Seminary.

I come to Pebble Hill with my two traveling companions, Molly and Stormy. Both are rescue dogs and really sweet. My hobbies include making jewelry and writing poetry.  I collect southwestern rugs, pottery and jewelry.  My son, Benjamin and his wife Alyssa live in Alexandria VA.

In October 2019, the Deacons hosted a Halloween party for children in the church and the local community.

The aMAZEing Halloween Hunt!
